Founded in 2013 by Edward Buttery, Taylor Maritime’s goal is to create long term, meaningful relationships with our partners built upon longstanding industry experience and a conservative, hands-on asset management approach.

Taylor Maritime is a private, family-owned ship management business that strives to provide its partners with the best possible support – through effective communication, passion and commitment to continuous improvement.

Today, Taylor Maritime operates a homogenous fleet of high quality Japanese handysize dry bulk carriers.  The vessels are chartered to well recognised trading houses and operators with whom Taylor Maritime enjoys strong relationships.

Taylor Maritime provides a full range of commercial, corporate and administrative services including chartering, operations, insurance management, sale and purchase, financing arrangement, accounting and reporting.

Taylor Maritime also provides oversight of technical management, working in close partnership with Tamar Ship Management.

Taylor Maritime is headquartered in Hong Kong.
